Non-Profit Organizations, Raft with Us!

Established in 1982 to provide unique and affordable adventures for Youth, Church, Girl Scout, Boy Scout and other Non-profit organizations Windfall Outdoor Center today serves all the rafting public, but we really enjoy rafting with the many groups that come to our center each year.

What We Provide - Our Adventures

We provide whitewater rafting, inflatable kayaking and rock climbing trips tailored to meet the needs and goals of your group. Please call us toll free at 1-800-683-2009 and we will be glad to help you plan your groups’ adventure. We also include fabulous accommodations.

Each activity we offer is guided by our highly trained and licensed staff. A hearty lunch is provided with each adventure and all necessary gear is provided. For our rafting and inflatable kayaking trips wetsuits (if needed) are provided for $5 per person (normally $15).

Your group will also receive one free raft trip for every 10 people booked.

Kennebec River rafting is $59 per person. The minimum age for this trip is 10. Participants under 10 can join the rest of the group just below the largest rapids for the Lower Kennebec River trip at $39 per person.

Dead River rafting is $74 per person. The minimum age for the high water release dates is14 and 10 for the medium water release dates.

Rock climbing and inflatable kayaking are offered at $10 off the listed rates.

Accommodation Choices

With a variety of accommodations we can arrange a package to meet your group’s needs. Our accommodations are set up so your group can do your own cooking. The campground has a cooking ring and ample firewood. The platform tents have fire rings and a large propane BBQ grill for groups.

Our exclusive group cabins have complete kitchens with all the cooking utensils needed and gas barbeque grills. This option is popular for groups on a budget. For a full description of the campground and cabins please see below.

If your group would like to have meals provided we have breakfasts at $5 per person and dinners at $10 per person.

We have combined our adventures and accommodations in pre packaged plans that give your group added discounts for multi adventure trips.

CABINS

The Riverview Cabins

The Riverview cabins are standard fare accommodations, reserved for our youth, church and non profit groups and priced to meet your group’s budget.

Each heated cabin has a living room with satellite TV, a full kitchen with all the utensils needed for cooking and eating, and bathrooms with showers. Bedrooms supply bunks and doubles with sheets, pillows and pillowcase. You will need to supply a sleeping bag or blanket, and towel.

Outside there are two gas BBQ grills and a bonfire/ meeting area with picnic tables. The cabins are situated on the scenic Moose River and provide a swimming dock and access to canoes and kayaks. There is a large field for games and a volleyball net.

Capacity and Price:

  • The cabin complex can accommodate groups of 50+
  • Four cabins sleep 8 each in 2 bedrooms
  • One large cabin sleeps 14 with 2 bedrooms and a large dormitory
  • Additional rooms available at the main house/ office
  • Price is $26 per night per person including tax


CAMPING / CABINS

Well kept campground in a quiet forest, on a picturesque pond. Clean bathrooms and showers, in-ground pool, canteen and recreational facilities private and group sites. RV sites with hook ups available. New for 2008 3 brand new cabins on a pond. Each 2 bedroom cabin offers a fully equipped Kitchen, full bath (bring your own towels) and cable TV. Outside is a fire ring & picnic table for bonfires and BBQs.

 

PLATFORM TENTS

Located on a pristine mountain lake with waterfront access and swimming each platform tent sleeps 4 to 6 people. Two large restrooms provide ample showers and there is a meeting building, propane grill, and large fire ring/ bonfire area. You provide sleeping bag, ground pad & towel. The platform tents can accommodate groups of 60+.

 


IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION

  • All rates are per person based on a minimum group of 10 participants and include tax.
  • A waiver must be signed by a parent or guardian for those under 18 years old.
  • Minimum age is 10 and an adult leader for every ten youth is requested.
  • Please add $15.00 if rafting on Saturdays in May, June, & Sept.
