Inflatable Kayaking on the Penobscot River Seboomook Section
 The Seboomook section of the Penobscot River offers a very unique opportunity for inflatable kayaking.
Inflatable kayaks are easy to control, self powered crafts that are both agile and sturdy enough to take on serious whitewater rapids. Even if you don't have any kayaking experience, you can quickly master the techniques needed to control an inflatable kayak.
What's unique about the Seboomook trip is the river obstacles that would be impossilbe to run with traditional rafts. With the inflatable kayaks, you can easily dodge and cruise through the drops and shoots of the Penobscot rapids.
The river is mired with large boulders and rocks, which create an almost zig-zag course which you must manuever your craft. With rapids named "Jaws" and "Labyrinth", this unique drop and pool run is simply a blast!
Don't worry, our Seboomook trip is extremely safe. Our equipment is very new, top notch and designed for professionals. And, we have expert guides along with you to show you the route to follow and help out with any problems or questions.
This trip is short enough that we can usually make two runs down if time allows. We also include a riverside lunch in this trip, so you'll be set for a full day's worth of activity.
Book early as space is limited. Please note that a minimum booking requirement is needed for any launch. Please check with us to make sure we have a launch scheduled on the date you need. Minimum age is 14.
